Open Courts at Wajhianwala

As per the direction of Punjab Chief Minister, Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi along with his team held an open meeting in Wajhianwala to provide justice to the local citizens of area. Local residents mentioned issues related to health, finance, education and police. Deputy Commissioner ordered strictly to address those issues. He took strict notice upon the placement of vendor stalls in areas, marked as government land. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner said that no one will be allowed to occupy government lands. The Deputy Commissioner also directed CO Education to give job to a woman using non-salary budget.

A development package of over Rs. 7 billion has been prepared which will be announced by the Chief Minister during his visit. He also directed the BHU administration to remove the piles of garbage and remove the puddles of sewage. Additional Deputy Commissioners Mohammad Ikram Malik, Mohammad Akhtar Mandheera, Assistant Commissioner Zeeshan Nadeem, DSP Mian Channu and others officers of provincial departments were also present.
